THIS IS NOW IN COLBERT'S POSSESION!!!!
i did it! i gave it to him! (dec 10 2008 show)
he came out of his studio, we waited after the show, he came out about an hour later (not bad at all :]) me and my friend froze, we couldn't talk, some lady was with him (no not his wife lol) opened a umbrella for him, but it went out and messed up. my friend had my huge umbrella and said "here colbert!" putting the umbrella over him, he said thanks and he walked to his car which was surprisingly right next to us the whole time 0_o (we were leaning on it before a bit lol), so he opened his door, put in his suit, he was about to open the driver's seat door, when i finally spoke up and said "umm.. uhh.. can.. we get an autograph" *showed him my "i am america and so can you" book* he said sure!, i had a paper inside for my friend so he wrote his first and said "stay strong" and his signature, and for mine on the "to america" page, he said "to maggy, be brave" and his signature :] he probably said that because i couldn't talk. he was about to leave when i stopped him (not rudely though, more shyly) and said "well, i'm.. and artist, and i thought it'd be cool for a celebrity to have one of my artworks" he said ok when i handed it to him, before seeing it he seemed like he thought it would be some simple drawing or something creepy, but he looked at it, lit up and said "oh wow! this is great, thank you!!" he kept thanking me as he got into his car, before he closed the door he said "maggy.. checo?" as if to make sure he pronounced it right, i nodded and he repeated my name as if to memorize it x]!!!! he now knows my name, greatest day everr :] (i'm not a fangirl lol just a huuuge fan)


no idea how many types of pencils i used, i think, 4h 2H, HB, 3B, 6B, and 8B, and realized how useful blenders are. . enjoy! you colbert addicts! :]

edit: i realized i made the chin about a millimeter too short lol, so i fixed it
